WHO
Liz Kinoshita was born in Toronto, Canada and moved to Europe in 2002. She studied at P.A.R.T.S. in Brussels, Belgium between 2004 and 2008. Liz has since worked with ZOO/Thomas Hauert, Tino Sehgal, Good Move/Eleanor Bauer, Hiatus/Daniel Linehan, among others, as well as making her own work with collaborators such as Clinton Stringer, Justin F. Kennedy, and Salka Ardal Rosengren. In 2013 she started her research into the mechanisms of the musical. In 2014 she created VOLCANO, a contemporary dance backstage musical performance. In 2017 Liz premiered Radical Empathy (commissioned by Den Danske Scenekunstskole) and You Can't Take It With You, an in-the-round performance about waste vs necessity. Liz was part of the artistic team for West Side Story on Broadway, choreographed by Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker and directed by Ivo van Hove. Liz's new creation 11 O'clock is set to be shared on stage and screen in 2021-2023.

Justin F. Kennedy aka JK (1983) is a Berlin-based dance/vocal artist, teacher and DJ originally from St. Croix, US Virgin Islands. With a playful and collaborative approach, their research evolves from experiences and analysis of trance dance and its further translatability into workshops, science fiction operas, durational dance installations and film. In 2006, they earned a BA in Dance and Ethnic Studies from Wesleyan University and in 2013, an MA in Choreography from HZT Berlin. Justin's notable projects of late include Some Murder Theatre in Here, Volksbühne Grüner Salon, Berlin (2020), UNFURL: a lucid sci-fi opera, BB11 (2020) and SPUR: a fashion western (Winter 2021). They have performed intimately with and for Emma Howes, Ligia Lewis, Louis Vuitton, Tino Sehgal, Adam Linder, Liz Kinoshita, Jeremy Shaw, Josh Johnson, BODYSNATCH, Faustin Linyekula, Jeremy Wade, Peaches, Wu Tsang amongst others.
Clinton Stringer was born and raised in South Africa. After studying for an Arts Degree there, he moved to Belgium to attend P.A.R.T.S. where he spent two years. In 2000, Clinton joined Rosas (Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker). Over the course of nine years he was involved in many creations and restagings of repertoire pieces including Rain, Drumming, April Me, Raga for the Rainy Season, Mozart Concert Arias and Bitches Brew. In 2011 and 2014, he was involved in the re-staging of Rain at the Opéra de Paris. Freelance dance projects include Dancesmith (2013) with Mark Lorimer and Cynthia Loemij; Volcano (2014) and You Can’t Take it With You (2017) with Liz Kinoshita; and Gerhard Richter (2017) with Mårten Spångberg. Clinton has also taught technique and Rosas masterclasses at P.A.R.T.S., the Opera de Lyon, the Opéra de Paris, the Danish National School of Performing Arts and the University of the Arts (Philadelphia). Vincent Jonsson is a graduate from the four year Dance and Choreography program at The Danish National School Of Performing Arts. He has so far created two solo works Relatable and Creature 1. He works in the collaboration A cCompany Dancing together with Riikka Lakea and is a part of IN action, a Swedish based dance collective. He has worked as a dancer and performer for Marina Abramović, Liz Kinoshita, amongst others. At the moment he is involved in productions with the company MYKA and Danskollektivet Ronny. Vincent has been teaching and been program responsible for the dance educations at Lunnevads folkhögskola in Sweden. He has been invited as a guest teacher at the dance education at, London Contemporary Dance School, Balettakademien Stockholm and SOZO visions in motion in Germany, amongst others. He has taught company classes for CORPUS at The Royal Danish Theatre and taught professional classes in Copenhagen, Helsinki, London and Berlin.
Elke Verachtert (Lighting Designer) is an experienced Light design / Technical director / Light tech on tour for Caravan Production since 2010. Elke has 11 years of education from Koninklijke Academie voor Schone Kunsten DKO Antwerpen in theatre/set design.
